Job Title: Contracts Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction sites across Aberdeen. This role involves ensuring all projects are managed in line with internal processes, with a strong focus on health & safety, quality assurance, and budget management. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring timely delivery of all projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple construction projects, including programme progress, cost control, and labour management.
- Supervise and guide Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers.
- Liaise with design teams to ensure timely release of project information.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and welfare systems across all sites.
- Develop and manage construction programmes, monitor site compliance, and liaise with public utilities and local authorities.
- Monitor sub-contractors' performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work is conducted safely and in line with regulations.
- Manage maintenance and defect issues, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
- Attend and lead various project meetings, manage project closeouts, and ensure all site admin is completed.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:
- CSCS Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven experience in construction management roles such as Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager.
- At least 2 years of management experience in construction, with strategic planning and project oversight capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- A valid right to work in the UK.

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- First Aid at Work certification
- Risk Assessment & Method Statement qualifications
- Power Project experience
