I’m currently working with a leading privately owned construction group in Scotland who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Construction division in Aberdeen.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term career progression, with genuine ownership of live contracts and a clear pathway towards a Senior Contracts Manager position.
The role will involve:

Managing multiple live construction contracts from start to completion.

Leading and supporting Site Managers and site teams.
-
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and specification.

Managing subcontractors, procurement, supply chain performance and cost control.
-
Maintaining strong client, consultant and supply chain relationships.
-
Driving Health & Safety, environmental performance and quality standards.

Supporting pre-construction and tender activities where required.
The ideal candidate will have:

Significant experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager.

A strong track record delivering construction projects successfully.
-
Good knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, commercial principles and CDM.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
-
SMSTS and CSCS.
-
Full UK driving licence.
-
HNC/HND/Degree in construction or a related discipline would be advantageous.
-
Experience in sectors such as housing, education or commercial construction would be beneficial.
