About the Role:
Our client, a leading construction company based in the Highlands of Scotland, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a range of Industrial, Residential, and Commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction contracts, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and monitoring all costs to keep projects within budget.
- Contract Administration: Handle contract negotiations, ensure compliance with contract terms, and manage any variations or disputes that arise.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices and conducting regular site inspections.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality control standards across all projects, ensuring work meets the required specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in Contracts Management.
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing Industrial, Residential, and Commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid UK right to work is required.
