IT & Facilities Support Assistant Aberdeen
Our Client is seeking a highly organised and proactive IT & Facilities Support Assistant to support their business across IT, facilities, and compliance functions. This role is ideal for an individual who is technically capable, solutions-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards across systems, buildings and services.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring our offices, workshops and systems are safe, compliant, and running efficiently—while delivering excellent support to staff across the company.
Key Responsibilities IT Support
- Provide first-line desktop support and respond to IT queries efficiently.
- Support day-to-day management of IT systems (including NAV) and liaise with external IT providers.
- Create and analyse reports in Excel using NAV data.
- Assist in the development and ongoing use of the WMD Reflow App.
- Manage IT licences, service agreements and compliance requirements.
- Support the procurement and setup of new IT equipment as directed by management.
- Participate in IT development projects as directed by the board.
Facilities Management
- Oversee the general upkeep of all buildings, car parks etc.
- Coordinate maintenance of building fabric and fittings, acting as the main point of contact for staff.
- Arrange, monitor and record planned inspections and routine maintenance activities.
- Obtain quotations for new works and repairs at all fixed sites.
- Support the Facilities, IT & Roadworks Permit Manager in wider facilities or compliance tasks.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
- Comply with company H&S, Environmental and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Ensure accurate reporting of accidents, near misses and environmental incidents.
- Adopt safe working practices and energy-saving initiatives within the workplace.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in quality and operational performance.

- Previous experience working in Facilities Management or similar role.
- Experience managing contractors and consultants.
Desirable
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Technical knowledge relating to building maintenance and contractor responsibilities.
- Experience with NAV or similar ERP system.
- Experience producing and analysing reports.
