Operations Manager – Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations while driving efficiency, quality, and productivity. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure products are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee production activities, ensuring targets for output, delivery, cost, and quality are met.

Translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing plans and schedules.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma to streamline processes and boost performance.

Manage and develop the operations team, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.

Maintain high standards of facility and equipment maintenance, with preventative maintenance programs in place.

Ensure quality management compliance, including ISO 9001:2015, internal audits, and root-cause analysis of issues.
Skills & Experience:

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Business.

Proven experience in manufacturing operations with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.

Practical knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
