I’m currently working with a leading and well-established construction company who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Aberdeen.
This is a key role responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Overall management and delivery of construction projects.

Programme planning, progress monitoring and cost control.
-
Management of direct labour and subcontractors.
-
Liaising with clients, design teams, commercial teams and site personnel.
-
Managing project resources and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
-
Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and quality.
-
Leading and mentoring site teams and direct reports.
-
Managing design coordination, information requirements and project completion.
-
Supporting the wider management team with strategic planning and operational decisions.
The ideal candidate will have:
-
Proven experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar.

Strong construction industry experience.
-
Essential experience in steel frame and cladding.
-
CSCS Manager’s Card and SMSTS.
-
Full UK driving licence.
-
Relevant construction/engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Strong commercial, organisational and communication skills.

Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, budgets and project teams.
-
A strong commitment to Health & Safety and quality.
