We are currently working with a growing residential housebuilding contractor with an established presence across the Highlands and Moray. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of developments, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with residential experience to join a forward-thinking contractor and play an important role in the delivery of high-quality housing developments.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of residential developments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operations of residential construction sites.

Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
-
Planning and managing programmes to ensure key project milestones are achieved.
-
Monitoring workmanship and ensuring homes are delivered to a high standard.

Managing health, safety and environmental requirements across the site.
-
Coordinating deliveries, materials and site resources.
-
Liaising with contractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
-
Monitoring progress and identifying potential delays or issues.
-
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.

Maintaining accurate site records and project documentation.
-
Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.

Supporting the successful handover and completion of properties.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction or housebuilding.
The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience managing residential housing developments.

A strong understanding of the housebuilding process from groundworks through to completion.

Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
-
Good knowledge of construction methods, quality standards and health & safety.
-
Strong organisational and communication skills.
-
The ability to manage programmes, resources and competing priorities.
-
A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
-
SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.
-
Appropriate CSCS accreditation.
